Upsides and Downsides of Science Activity

Peers' science activities I watched and commented on:
-Ashlee
-Cicely
-Beth

Write a paragraph reflecting on what you think the upsides and downsides are for implementing your science activity idea in an elementary education classroom.

To begin, the Upsides of my science activity are many. First, It is a good multi-modal way of teaching using content, visuals, text, and more. Students are now in the generation where technology is advancing, it is good to introduce them to computer, educational programs that they can use when learning science. Also, my science activity will be more engaging using kidsperation. I feel kids will are able to better lay out their thinking, and then express their thinking using what they wrote in kidsperation. They can also connect their hands-on activity with their data on kidsperation. On the other hand, there are downsides. It is very time-consuming to prepare a lesson and incorporate kidsperation with it. Also, you cannot just use the lay out provided in the activity because it does not fit a certain curricula, requirement, or grade level. Thus, as a teacher, you will have to modify the kidsperation lay out for the students, according to their grade level.
